About this pattern
This is a PDF crochet pattern bundle for the Flower Power Top, including two versions: a closed back version and a backless version, so you can choose your favorite or make both.
Both tops are made from African flower hexagons joined into rows. You work a chevron up from the front hexagon row to shape the neckline and down from it to widen the front. The closed back version has a back panel worked the same way and is joined into a ring with a bottom hexagon row and a lower body worked in the round. The backless version has a bottom hexagon row attached with mattress stitch, a lower body worked flat and an open back that laces up with a tie. Each pattern includes row-by-row instructions with stitch counts, charts for every hexagon and chevron section, an overview drawing, assembly diagrams and progress photos.
