Nari Sweater

This is a made-to-measure PDF crochet pattern for the Nari Sweater.

The sweater is worked from the top down. You begin with the back panel, then crochet the front directly from the shoulders with shaping for the neckline before joining it into one piece. The sleeves are worked in the round from the top down, allowing you to adjust the length as you go. The body is finished with ribbing at the hem and a double-folded neckline for a clean, polished look.

Sizes:

Made-to-measure. Yarn amount estimates are provided for sizes XS through 3XL.

Materials:

• Aran weight yarn – yarn A (sample uses Drops Nepal)
• Lace or light fingering weight yarn – yarn B (sample uses Drops Alpaca Silk)
• 5 mm crochet hook (or size needed to achieve desired fabric)
• Stitch markers
• Yarn needle
• Measuring tape

Yarn amounts:

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL. Yarn A: 300 (350) 400 (450) 500 (550) 600 m [330 (380) 435 (490) 545 (600) 655 yds]. Yarn B: 400 (600) 700 (800) 900 (1000) 1100 m [435 (655) 765 (875) 985 (1095) 1200 yds]. These estimates are based on tester feedback and may vary with your tension and yarn choice.

Size guide:

This sweater is designed with approximately 20 cm [8 in] of positive ease in the body for an oversized fit. The sleeves have slightly less ease for a balanced silhouette. You use your own measurements to create a custom fit.
